Find My Friends Help!

Hi,
So I recently changed the email on my Apple ID and it completely screwed up Find Friends. I can share my location but everyone else immediately says location not available. I read that I should have signed out of find friends first before changing my ID so I reverted back to the old email to try and sign out but I can't find any way of signing out? Anyone know whats going on here?

Is Settings -> iCloud -> Share My Location -> Share Location From set to the correct device?

Yes it's set to my iPhone

They may have to approve sharing their location to you again?
