so here's the deal... i was having some computer issues the other day, so i took my 'book over to a friend to have it checked out. along with fixing my problems, he also decided things could be 'prettier,' and he changed the way finder shows things in windows. labels are now on the right (fine), files and folders now give me info like # of item, length of songs, etc... (fine), and folders now get added to the right instead of down (meh). i know how the first two were done, and i have no problems with them, but this third thing is pretty weird, and i can't figure out how to change it back (and haven't had a chance to ask the person who changed it originally). the idea behind it is that the finder windows don't change size as more items are added, and you scroll L->R instead of Up->Down. i don't really care to change this right now (seeing if i get used to it - at the moment it's just kinda disorienting), but i was wondering how i would go about changing it back if i ever desired to do so. if i have not explained it well, let me know and i will try again or include some screenies. thanks for your help.
