I want to be able to select multiple links in my bookmarks sidebar so I can organize certain bookmarks into a folder.

In windows I could just use the shift or ctrl keys to select multiple items. How does this feature work on a Mac?

    Thanks.

UPDATE: How do you select multiple items in general?

I was able to organize my bookmarks through the "organize bookmarks" feature.

    • To select contiguous:
Click the first file, etc. and shift-click the last file.
    • To select non-contiguous:
Click the first file, etc. and command-click each additional file.
    • To select contiguous and non-contiguous:
Click the first file, etc. and shift-click the 5th file (files 1-5 are selected) then command-click the 7th and 9th file (files 1-5 & 7 & 9 are selected).
The above will work in Finder, Firefox's Organize Bookmarks and probably other apps but I'm drawing a blank right now.
