Update I have found a fix for the issues affecting so many of us. After no working email account for almost a week and having tried everything, I changed the password for my Apple ID in desperation and presto! It worked immediately. What you need to do is go to appleid.apple.com, select 'manage your account', sign in and change your password to a brand new one you've never used before. Log out of iCloud on all of your devices then log back in and hey presto, you have email back- even on iCloud.com! So glad this issue has finally been sorted ------------------------------- This is pissing me off. Myself, my sister & my girlfriend made our @me.com accounts from the GM (now we're all on the official release) last week and they have been fine. Now mine is not receiving -but is sending- mail while my the others account are fine. All identically setup by me, only I get a password error message on Lion & iOS5. It happens on iCloud.com too, with a 'cannot load mail' error before taking me back to the homepage- all other iCloud services are working perfectly from the same page (with the same login) and from my devices. I have tried changing my primary Apple ID from my me.com address back to gmail, logged in with @me and @gmail, restarted, emailing myself and have repeatedly tried deleting and re-adding my iCloud account to the Mac & iPhone to no avail. I know lots of people have had this happen for a short time but for me it has been like this since iOS5 was officially released on the 12th. I don't quite see what is causing the issue as iCloud.com mail has not been down for most people complaining about a brief bit of downtime in the mail applications. My @me email address was created from within iOS5 months ago and has worked brilliantly up to now. It's causing me a significant hassle considering my me.com email address is used for work as well as leisure. Should you happen to find a way to sort this issue, please post it here. There have been a few 'fixes' posted on the forum but with no luck. Anybody have a contact email address for Apple about this? For your information, the official iCloud service status says the following: Strange wording. I'll update this post and title should there be any changes.
