Hey everyone I have a small but annoying problem my 17 inch flat screen's on/off buttton light blinks 3 times sporadically . It does not just stay lit but like I said it blinks 3 times.. It doesn't seem to effect my monitor or my computer but does anybody know how to remedy this problem because it gets annoying after awhile

I went to apple support and they say:

1 - it is ahardware problem

2 - it will cost 500 dollars plus shipping to fix

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks again.

Use it while you can, and then just get another LCD.
Go for SONY or samsung.

It is probably almost two years old.. however I just sent it to apple for another problem around 6 months ago. And they "fixed" that.. so this monitor has been in my hands for less than a year.

I am going to call tomorrow am and see what I can do.

Well good luck, but just because it's only been in your hands for the last 6 months straight, it's still 2 years old, and not under any kind of warranty. If it really is a hardware problem, there's nothing anyone here can help out with. Good luck though, and maybe you can convince them it was their fault! :D
