If you think this is bad, just wait till the week of Nov. 2nd

I'm so glad that I came somewhat north to have some surgery done. Thank goodness I won't be back in-state till after the election is over (hopefully). :D

Why will the election be so bad in Florida?

Were you around in 2000 or 2002? :D There is a reason it's called Floriduh.

It was pretty much the biggest story of 2000 after the Y2K business. People voted twice, weren't sure which candidate they chose on the ballot, were re-directed to polls where "they" already voted, and punched cards which were later rejected. 2002 wasn't much better even though there was no presidential election.

We'd have been better off with a hurricane. At least, that would have explained the stupidity.

I'm sorry to hear about your continued difficult weather situation. Do you live near the Cape Canaveral area? Are al of your family and friends OK?

No one was hurt. I'm around 40 minutes away from there--far enough but we're getting into a pattern from the coast to eastern Orlando and that's not good. Tuesday night, we had a heavy storm right here. i can't wait until December 1st or I move back to Philly, whichever comes first.

Come on...FL isn't the only place to get tornadoes. In fact, FL tornadoes are mostly weak. ;) :p

It was weak--it was an F-1 but it still threw a small bus on top of three cars.

I saw on the news yesterday that Japan got hammered again with another taifun and 60 people are dead.
