Font Book in iLife/Panther

ok i see this program that came with i think i noticed it after i installed ilife. I see i have all these new fonts but dont know how to incorporate them into my programs such as word, illustrator and photoshop. it says they are enabled when i open font book. a llittle help please. thanx

They should be incorporated. Make sure they aren't unalphabetical. I have this font, Adobe Garamond Pro, and in Photoshote, et. al it is listed by Garamond instead of by Adobe.

that's because the font is Garamond; it's just Adobe's version of it. if you had ATR under OS 9, that's how they were organized because it's how most creative pros think about their fonts: by family, not by foundry.
