For reasons unknown, the AdLib font suddenly conked out on machine after having been fine.

I have reinstalled it into Font Book, the systems folder AND into my
username fonts and it is still not working properly. I keep on getting
the message: "You might not be able to print with AdLibBT-Regular or
stroke its characters because the font's outline file is missing".

Anyone know what this means or what I have to do to get it working. The whole font thing is driving me insane. How difficult can it be to get a font onto a Mac?

Thanks for any advice you can offer me.

Postscript fonts come in two pieces. An outline file and the metrics... one for the shape of the letter, the other to tell software how to space it relative to other letters. The 'font suitcase' contains the metrics, the file that has the abbreviated name will be the outline.

What you've done is missed one of those files out when reinstalling it.
