For those of you who are stuck on Windows due to financial constaints (like me) and have a digital camera, a great program is Google Picasa 2 . It's free and can do basic photo editing, organize pictures, and make slideshows. Give it a try if you don't have a photo organizing/editing program.

You mean it runs on Windoze? Well, actually, I guess that's an oxymoron, that is, using "run" and "Windoze" in the same sentence.

Here's hoping you get a Mac *sooooon*! :)

I've got some nice viruses you can have. :)

They don't work on Macs though. :(

I hope I get one soon-I had my money all set up, then I got dropped from my state scholarship (for taking classes at a University and Community college-in the same state! ), so my $2000 had to go towards this semester. But by June (or sooner) I should have enough money.

Anyway, Picasa works well for me, temporarily at least.

Actually good programs, whether written for a Mac or a PC, make the others pay attention and try harder.

So I wouldn't be so skeptical if I was you, Picasa2 just may be responsible for a big improvement in the next version of iPhoto.

And yes, it is a great program - and free too :)
