I am some one who is thinking of becoming an X-Plane fan. I just have one question. Should I wait for version 8 or jump in while 7 is half off and not get 8 when it comes out?

    X-Plane 7 is simply AMAZING!

If you like flying, then try it out. At least, download the demo, and have a play. If you like it, then it doesn't take much to buy the disc from www.x-plane.com - you won't regret it!

As it is, the program is great. Download as many extras as you like from www.x-plane.org (a supporter's site - where you can get aircraft, scenery, objects and flight plans for FREE), and add them to your existing game. The Global scenery downloads are great, too - I've got the entire landscape to New Zealand and the UK, correct to NASA land height data to within 10 metres!

Practice landing and taking off from aircraft carriers, refuelling in mid-air with a KC-10 tanker, or even get dropped from a B-52 whilst in an X-15...

    Wicked!
