Judging from the description, I hope the man was checked for stroke or brain tumours. Disinhibition of socially inappropriate behaviours is never a good sign of health.

    They confronted him over jaywalking?

Over here they'd have chased him into some woodlands and then waited for gazza to turn up with a roast chicken and a fishing rod.

I believe it means that people are bothered by armed people other than law enforcement wandering around in their midst. It's ironic for every one they see, there are 100 or more armed and concealed that they don't see. As a rule, I'm against any kind of carry permits for average citizens.

Very, very likely the problem here. At least he didn't shoot someone who happened to walk up to his door, as has happened in some cases.

This is what happens when you start treating gun ownership, or, driving a car, as an absolute "right" without regard for all the other rights everyone else has.

I believe I was the first to use it on PRSI, glad it's caught on. :)

On a related note, this is someone who probably shouldn't be legally able to own a gun, yet he got his gun back the very next day.

Of course you do. Even if it saves just one life, it is worth it.

Yeah, the story lost all credibility by bashing an unrelated 3rd party. No mention of they guy being a Fox News viewer or even owning a TV. It's sorta like how the US Gub'ment lost all credibility with the rest of the world for invading Iraq over 9/11. Brazil should be careful or we might invade then because of our War on Drugs.
