    I wish they did this in Australia, my old school could use this deal.

    Instead public schools in Australia get Free Microsoft products, of course the Government pays a fortune for it and it doesn't include all software like Server Software.

    Renaissance = NZ's Apple distributor.

    Hopefully this will help to increase Apple's market share in NZ. If students can see how good a Mac is at school, then they might get one at home too.

    As long as their folks arent driven by the sub $1000 PCs being advertised by Acer and The Warehouse"where everybody gets a bargain and a money back guarantee". Compare that with NZ $2499 for the eMac (or $2399 I m not sure exactly)

    All said and done, its good to see more schools being outfitted with Apple.

    Um, the Combo Drive eMac is $1489, and the SuperDrive is $2099.

    Yeah, it's good to see the entry-level Apple systems under $1500 at last. But they've still got the threat of $999 Dells from The Warehouse. I was shocked when I found out about that!
