Yay! Now I just need to figure out what the horrifically late/early time will be (no doubt 3AM...)
FYI that is 11:30 AM CST
I'm pretty sure http://e3.nintendo.com/ and GameSpot are also streaming live.
I don't care. I'm going to be sitting in the audience, in the Wario Land seating section.
Yes, but do you have to be registered for the E3 stream? The US Nintendo site only accepts US registrations
IGN insider have this too, but you have to be a paid member.
I'm going to be GLUED to my screen come tuesday, what with E3 and MacBook announcements......
there's going to be so much glue on my ass sitting in front of the screen that it won't even be funny.
I'm going to hurt some feelings now....anybody know if sony is doing the same?
Well MS are streaming their info to 360's? And Nintendo has it on the internet. No doubt Sony will announce something. They've still got time left.
Why can't 1 site just stream everyone they'd make a fortune.
I'm actually more excited about the Wii than the macbook...
Ditto. but that's only down to the MacBook not interesting me. now, a remodelled MacBook Pro... not just an updated PowerBook body. would be special.
I've not seen this posted yet and I'm not sure it deserves it's own thread. Adds to the excitement for the conference though. It's lifted form a post at Somethingawful and is from the upcoming issue of TIME magazine article;
I can't wait to play with this console.
^ this is going to be the best home console ever. not that "I've ever played". just ever.
I DEMAND LINKAGE!
It would be the best home console ever just for the virtual console and access to the past library on Nintendo games. To add this kind of immersive gameplay on top is almost too much !
Sorry GFLPraxis it's academic access only. I don't actually have remote access either even being university staff - it seems to be reserved for the law faculty at USyd. I'm going to see if I can get the full article at the library today. I'll post it if I can. It's meant to be from this weeks TIME issue - I'm not quite sure when that goes on sale....
Thank you so much for posting it
can i get some conversion of the streaming time into gmt please?
I wonder will Nintendo sell inexpensive replacements for (the inevitable) broken controllers?
FINALLY someone posted an article that says why the Rev…er, Wii is so "revolutionary." This is what you people (looking at the MacRumors Nintendo crowd) don't get: many of us don't hate/dislike Nintendo, we need someone to sell us on the damn system. Most are content to just draw the line in the sand and say "we like Nintendo, you're stupid for not doing so as well" and completely miss the fact that we're interested and listening.
Both Nintendo and Sony need to do a better job of selling to the consumers -- not the fanboys -- of why their systems are so great.
[Edit] MS too; I already own a 360 so obviously the don't need to sell to me.
A shame I'll be at work, where the word "game" in a url is akin to "porn" and therefore blocked.
I'll be catching up all night at home though, and keeping up on the breaking news as reported here at MR. Can't wait to see more on the Wii and the PS3.
I think 1up will also be broadcasting a free live feed. (checking…)
Edit: confirmed. Found it: link
Ah thats good. The more feeds the better. thinking I might just open them all, hopefully all with the sound synced just at different angles. some kind of game CCTV thing
I cant ever remember being this excited about a console. If it weren't for posters on this forum I would have completly written off nintendo. Thank you all for opening my eyes to the fact that games are more than just graphics its about having fun. Sorta forgot that with the PS2
I really want to watch this live as well, but I don't think I can pull it off at work!
I'm really excited as well, everytime I read a preview of the controller and how it plays, I just want to get a Nintendo Wii really bad.
