Does anyone know if we will be able to install mountain lion for free on our current Macs if we get a Mac that ships with mountain lion? I have a MacBook Pro with Retina display on order arriving the first week of August and was wondering if I would be able to install mountain lion on my 2011 iMac running lion for free.

There was a previous thread asking the same thing. Not sure how far back it is now. People gave firm answers for both "YES" and "NO" but it sounded like from reading those responses that the "NO" people had gone through the same situation with SL to Lion and they had to purchase it separately for their other Macs that weren't' part of the free upgrade program. I have two macs that qualify for the update and 3 that don't so it would be nice to be able to upgrade all of them for free but it really sounded like you would have to pay $20 for the other ones.
