List your apple refurb model and if you got free extra RAM, bigger hard drive, etc. Just curious who the lottery winners are and what they won... I've never been so lucky...

Black MacBook CD came with 1 GB of Ram this past January.

I had ordered one in December that came stock, but with a bad optical drive.

I got a 2.3 Powermac G5 and it came with 2GB of ram instead of 512mb.

Saved a few quid there as I was going to upgrade it anyway

This is a much quieter thread than anticipated. Maybe people do not get as many freebees from refurbs as they say they do.

With my refurb mini I got a free loose screw rattling around inside the case. :)
Got it out with my fingernail before hooking anything up, though.

Bought black MacBook Core 2 Duo refurb last week - came with 2 GB ram! :D

Some usage marks on trackpad, but only visible at a certain angle. One very happy customer.

At the peril of threadcrapping myself... nice threadcrap. You couldn't just wait until tomorrow and actually post something contributive?

It seems one of the most common free upgrades is 1GB in a MacBook. I see a number in here; that's also what I got and what a friend of mine got. I envy those who got 2GB for free :)

That's nice. You didn't have to crack the case to get more RAM in there.

Uh...what? What kind of "upgrade" are you going to get on an iPod? More RAM? A free engraving of someone else's name? :p

Except for the engraving, iPods don't have BTO options.
