Hey, I am a students trying to figure out where to go with my life. I have been looking at learning some web programming, and I can afford two programs, Freeway Express and WebObjects. From what I can tell WebObjects is gonna be the better of the two products, but since I'm really a novice at this stuff, would I be better of going with Freeway?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the Freeway Trials ?

I've had Freeway since version 2. I'm now on Version 4 Pro and really like it, but it's not without its issues too.

    If you can TBYB

Check out Nvu. It's a decent wysiwyg. Opensource and free.

    You want to do programming?

Learn PHP, Javascript and Ruby on Rails... they are all free and opensource. All you need is a decent text editor.

Not that I'm an authority on the matter, but isn't WebObjects part of apple's free XCode dev tools package? Also, isn't freeway for designing sites visually whereas WebObjects is for making server-side apps?
    Correct me if I'm wrong...
