What devices do you have on your network?
And do you have a static ip address set up on anything?

Amusing that you scrubbed the local IP address. Anyway something on your network is keeping hold of it's IP address and causing that message. I presume your network isn't static and set to dhcp.

I know next to nothing about this

No other devices on my network except my iPhone.

I know I have an IP address - whether it's static or not I don't know.

I'm assuming ( maybe incorrectly ) that another computer/device is using my id
    ( IP address ).....

    cheers

    Yep, that's pretty much it.

Easiest way to fix it is to manually set the device's IP address to something else, even if your router is using DHCP.
