So, here is my story. Long time Windows user, still using Windows at work and it seems like that wont change any time soon; however, I made a switch at home and so far I enjoy the change with few minor annoyances - one of them being Finder.

I am not sure if this was asked before, but is there any way to propagate settings on how things display in finder to subfolders and files? In another word, I want stuff Another question, if I change a size of a finder window, how can I make things inside such window auto arrange automatically? it is very frustrating to click clean up each time I change a window size for things to arrange properly.

In an ethereal plane of existence.
The Finder is certainly one of the worst parts of OS X. The Finder seems to be a little strange when it comes to deciding how its windows should look from folder to folder... I've had to repeatedly change things back to how I like them after it decided to change the settings for me for some reason. You can set default settings, but that doesn't guarantee every window will obey them, and AFAIK there's no way to propagate the settings to subdirectories unfortunately. As for the auto-arrange functionality, yes, it exists. Click on the "View" menu, and select "Arrange By", then select how you would like the icons to be arranged.
