This was once my old mobile workhorse. It's a Dell Inspiron 4150, 1.7GHz Pentium 4 Mobile, 256mb RAM. I'm pretty sure the hard drive is 20GB, could be 30 or 40, but I think it's 20GB, and I think it uses the Radeon 7500 graphics.

Everything works fine except the battery. It won't hold a charge, so it needs to be plugged in during usage. The screen looks good, but there is a small crack on the hard shell behind the screen. It doesn't affect the laptop in any way though.

It would be a good kick-around, test machine, or even a good platform to start learning Linux (I had Ubuntu installed for a while). Like I said, everything works except the battery won't hold a charge.

You'll get the laptop, wireless card, and the power cord/brick.

I'm asking $150 shipped. I will ship anywhere in continental United States (don't PM me about international shipping, it's not going to happen), and I accept Paypal only.

(By the way, if you're wondering what's on the screen, I'm running DBaN)

    Ok, PM sent.

Just to clarify, it does not come an operating system installed. Whoever buys it is responsible for the OS.

I have the Latitude C640, which is practially the same thing.

These things are built like tanks!

Mine has a 2 Ghz P4-M, 1.25 GB of RAM, and a 60GB HDD, with two batteries.

I can get around 5-6 hours out of the batteries.

These models have the capability of having a Mini PCI wireless card being installed in the bottom alongside the RAM. It already has the antennas built in.
