Technically you can't sell Office, because it is the student version and states on the box that you can't resell it

I don't think $800 is very reasonable. As someone can get a refurb 1.42 Super on Apple at $849.

    Just thought I'd say that :) ;)

    price drop! $750 shipped!
the apple store has this machine for $680, without the airport card ($70 value), bluetooth (a dongle's like $30 bucks AND it's external as opposed to my machine's built-in bluetooth) plus mine has upgraded ram (768mb), and free applecare through december '07!!! buying this machine refurb'd from apple, then upgrading it yourself would cost $830, not even talking about tax and applecare! (assuming $50 for ram)
local pickup is always welcome, and all reasonable offers will be entertained!! (no trades, sorry )
i pretty much need to sell the machine THIS WEEK!

I think he means that they pirated their copy of Tiger, therefore making it illegal to use.

I would recommend putting this up on ebay. I've tried selling things on forums before, and you just don't get the exposure of ebay. I've had some fantastic luck on ebay in the past.

    Good luck

k...my mom's not letting me put it on ebay, unfortunately.
would now consider trade for a digital slr (with lens).
remember, if the price looks too high or anything like that, i'm open to offers!

I'm just curious, buy why exactly are you having to sell it?

It's such an awesome Mac, don't you have some organ you're not using or something?:D
