Hello, I'm looking for either a P4 or AMD machine with a TV Tuner Card or an Elgato Eye TV 200 or equivalent. For the P4, I'd something decent, ex. 1.8GHz and up with modest specs. In exchange for a trade I have a B&W Powermac G3 with the following specs:

    450MHz
    512MB
    2 x 9GB SCSI HDD's
    100MB Zip Drive
    ATI Rage 128 w/ 16MB VRAM
    24x CD- ROM

    Other tidbits:
DVD-ROM, 2x4x6 USB CD-RW, 250MB Zip Drive, 20GB and 6GB HDDs, 3.5" USB2/FW enclosure, 3.5" FW enclosure, Epson Photo 880 Printer, 15" NEC LCD, Firewire PCI card, 802.11b PCI card, 64MB -128MB PC100- PC133 RAM etc... I have too many things laying around

I'm also open to other trades, or selling things outright.

Would you be interested in a P4 motherboard? I have very lightly used SOYO MoBo... it's this one:

Anyway, I'd sell it at a discount, of course. I just don't know if you are looking for a whole computer or are willing to build one.

    How about....

    a P3 1ghz (remember this is equivalent to a P4@1.4ghz)

Had Everquest 2 running for a while (no Mac version is available), with a 9800 ATI card... ran great (9800 card is gone now), HATED game.

Abit Motherboard (socket 370 style) good quality board
Intel 1ghz CPU with original Intel fan and heatsink
    1 GB of dimm memory
you can keep your SCSI HD's (or can include multiple (small) ATA's as this one is set up for)
Adaptec 2940UW SCSI controller (seperate board of course)
DVD drive w/ DVD player software
    300w PSU
AGP video (not a great card but included)
    Fan controller module
    Floppy drive
Multiple fans and easy to use case
    3com 10/100 NIC

    onboard sound and USB ports

Anyhow, you can email back or send a PM if interested. Have dealt here and have a glowing Ebay feedback.

I updated what I'm asking for a little bit. Basically, I want either a PC to capture cable video on, or an capture box for my powerbook.

    Taken to emails

Rick I responded, but figured it would be easier to go to emails.

A 1ghz windows box should play any DVD or Divx movie fine (as long as not a 1080 HD movie).

    Not a problem Rick...

Something to think about and a couple of corrections:

The PSU is an upgraded 350w ATX Power Supply.
Video card is a Nvidia TNT2 Ultra 32MB AGP card.

PowerDVD 4.0 (with license and CD) will be included and this does play movies without a hitch (the PowerDVD software needs a 350mhz or greater CPU it claims). Used it this evening to try movie playback. You would need a higher end Video card to port to a TV tho.

I can send pictures if you would like, otherwise its a fairly clean case (tower) with lots of room for fans and accessories.

We both better be sure as shipping for each machine will be spendy...

    Again thanks and talk soon.

    Hi Rick

Sent back, need you to respond so I can send pictures (2mb file). Not sure if your emails can handle the larger size.

    Thanks,
    Rob
