I don't think your right. Next time you make a comment you might want to back it up with a few examples. There are plenty of these computers that have sold for 400.

I realize some sell for considerably less. I, however, was going to provide pictures of the item and software on the side. If you look on eBay, pictures alone can raise the amount that an item sells for considerably because there is significantly less risk to the buyer.

There may not be any listed as that low currently but there have been in the past. I bought one similar to yours about 6 months ago for $170 it came with a printer and they both work perfectly still

Also this one will sell for less because it is the less popular iteration of the wallstreet with only a 13.3 in. screen rather than the 14.1 in. screen (the 12 and 13 in models were later dropped in favor of the 14 in because of slow sales and for the uniformity ie. lower cost of the casing). Those people who paid over $400 for the models on ebay are either idiots or did not look around too much. I have a 14.1 in 233 with 196 megs of ram and a 20 gig hd and i would not expect to get $400 and my case is in perfect condition unlike most of them.

i think you are trying to get him to lower the price for your own benefits, i have looked on ebay and i see similar units at the listed price he mentionef

wow, some support. Thanks for backing me up daniel. I was a little offended when I was told that I should "try again". All I did to price it was go to eBay and look at some Buy It Now's and priced the laptop accordingly

brownietyme, there are polite and belittling ways of responding, it might be in your best interests to consider trying the polite ways first.

    note,

i just went to powermax.com, an apple reseller if you dont know, and they are selling that model for a higher price than 400 dollars. the only difference, is the ram amount 64 megs instead of 96

I really hate to see people jumping down each others throats online. life is tough enough without coming to a website recreationally and being harangued.

    BTW, here is a url:

you know that powrmax is a business that buys them for $200 or so, and then sells them for too much, right?

so? all companies charge more then what they buy the product for. maybe you have heard of profits? maybe not.

what the guy offered it for is still 100 dollars cheaper than the same unit elsewhere.

Out of intrest more than anything, I wrote to pwermax to see what they'ld give me for this machine. Their rep e-mailed me back with a quote of $315, quite a bit more than the $200 price tag that was suggested
