My old PowerMac G3's hard drive finally called it quits and considering that nobody in the house really uses it anymore it is getting parted out. The following items were working properly when the hard drive crashed and are up for sale. All prices include shipping. Not looking to make a profit, just want this stuff out of the house. Please PM me if you are interested in any of the parts. Thanks very much.

PowerMac G3 "Blue and White" Case w/ power supply and motherboard ($45 shipped)

    You can get a B&W w/o a hard drive, and w/ everything else for $20 + shipping.

Considering how heavy the case is $45 shipped seems about right to me.

As for everything else, sometimes people need a single part, not the whole computer. If this stuff doesn't sell then it's going in the trash, just thought it was better to see who needs it then to just toss it right away.

Hey... don't throw it away! I'll happily take it off your hands before you throw it away. I'll pay for shipping too.

Just got back to you. FYI the computer is now whole again-minus the HD, ZIP drive and OEM modem (there is a modem card though). Since there is no HD, the computer chimes and stays on the flashing folder? icon.

    Is CD drive available?

I need a G3 CD drive. Is yours available and, if so, how much? Thanks.

uuummm.......just about any standard CD drive will fit in the B&W's

If you are running OS 8-9.xx, then the Sony CR-X series is the most compatible, but if you run OS X, then most any Pioneer DVR series will work also :p
