    Proof

This is not your average racing game, this is so much better! If anyone is familiar with Big Red Racing, this is probably very similar. You can race with 4x4's, ATV's, and watercrafts. There are over 70 tracks and over 35 vehicles.

Check out the awesome graphics here!

Virtual Programming gets mad props for publishing this!

... So what's this game about? It's finally coming but what should I be excited about? I've never heard of this.

It's about racing it seems. I've never heard of it either. They're racing on snow too, but those aren't snowmobiles.

Edit: OK, they're not racing on snow, they're racing on water and the snow is just scenery to jump over.

Looks a bit like Wave Race: Blue Storm too. So its another racing game that tries to be different with there actually being different sorts of racing games to begin with? noted.

Wave Race was only water racing, this has all-terrain races. And you can choose from 10 different characters, kind of like Micro Machines or something similar.

It looks like several old Playstation games but they were great even though they didn't look all that great, if you looked closely.

    Hopefully, it'll be fun.

Ummm, No. There aren't any Playstation games with graphics as good as that. Take a better look at the screenshots.

He wasn't referring to graphics. not everyone actually goes for graphics. they look past them and look at how the game works which I think bousozoku was doing.

i agree with what he said too.

    Ahhhhh Big Red Racing :)

It's a racing game featuring a very wide range of vehicules, from hovercrafts to bulldozzers iirc... Verry funny (not realistic at all)

Until I can remember the name I shall call it Racer X. Mate of mine bought it about 5 years ago, was supposed to be the most 'realistic' racer ever with its physics and that. It was very good. you could drive around in hovercrafts, cars, buggies etc. That was 5 years ago. I was in year 11 at school

"...even though they didn't look all that great..."

If he wasn't referring to graphics with this line, then what do you believe he was referring to??

No way! There's nothing basic about this game. There's nothing realistic about this game and there's nothing groundbreaking here. It's all about original, pure, goofy fun. I challenge you to find another racing game like this on the Mac platform.

Anyone who isn't a big fan of racing games, or even isn't a big fan of games in general, will find this game fun to play.

15 posts in and we finally discover its a Mac game. This is why a description would have been useful. On that site I just saw the Xbox logo and assumed it was PC and Xbox only.

Congratulations, you listed the PC version system requirements. Now explain what in the WORLD that has to do with ANYTHING. :) (Other than to give a vague idea what the Mac system requirements will be.)

    --Eric

Er, the first post was kind of a clue, in that the first link goes to Virtual Programming. They're a Mac porting company....

As it says "To be announced", so that they will be determined once the port is finished.

No, that was the second clue. The first clue was that I posted it. I wouldn't post anything about a game release unless it was for Mac.

Bingo! Like those old PS1 games that were sort of experimental, that threw loads at the player with half assed but very fun game modes. with a sort of 'simple' feel that originally pulled the casual gamer in.

That's ridiculous. Almost every game system has games with game play and style like that. It's not specific to the Playstation in any way.

I think you're missing a lot of details. Maybe you should try some really old game consoles, then, computers from around 1980-1981 and again late 1980s consoles.

There are a lot of little things in the changes.
