Full Name issue (not menu bar)

this isn't the same issue with seeing the full name in the menu bar. I'm just wondering if i can change the full name without affecting the user account. I hate seeing my first and last name. First name is enough..

System Preferences > Users & Groups > Full Name.

Changing your full name only affects how it is displayed in the menu bar and login screen, and won't change your user account in any way.
