FYI: New version of Silk

    A little while ago there was a thread about an app called 'Silk', it enables Quartz text rendering and smoothing in all Carbon apps, it's a top little tool. :D
    Anyway, I think alot of people downloaded v1, just to make you all aware that v1.1 is now out and can be got from here:

    i love silk... especially since i'm using mozilla exclusively now (until omniweb 5 i suppose)

    it looks like it was only a minor update but i like the ability to now uncheck quartz metrics

    What is Quartz Metrics? What does it affect? There doesn't seem to be any documentation in Silk to describe what each option does. Or may be I just missed them completely...

    when i checked and unchecked it the only thing that changed was the size/width of the font (it looked like it was bolded and thicker for some reason)

    i'm assuming that's what quartz metrics are
