G3/600 10.3.3 - Slot loader grief

Maybe some one out there has some thoughts and help on this one.
Will read start up disks-Will not read or mount cds made on this machine
Cds will play on other Macs/Pcs and commercial dvd/mp3 players
Have checked all software/updates
Have cleaned with air(slot loader no comm cleaning kits avail)
During nad after burn all info available once disc is removed no mount no read Verey frustrating any ideas? Thanks

my be a software problem have you checked your CDs & DVDs prefrenced to check what the finder is set to do with newly inserted cd?
