G4+... what is this worth?

    so i'm going to sell this... any idea what's it worth? can figure out what the 533SP 'DA' would usually be, and of course i know what the processor & DVD upgrades were, but still looking for some guidance. what do you think?

    PowerMac G4 533mhz AGP "Digital Audio" -- PROCESSOR HAS BEEN UPGRADED to 1.47ghz G4, 2MB L3 cache, 256kb L2 cache
    Bus speed 133mhz
    1.12gb SDRAM
    40gb Hard Drive
    Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108 dual layer DVD burner (internal)
    Nvidia GeForce2 MX, 32mb VRAM
    OS 10.3.6
    15" Apple LCD

    Let's see, my estimate is this:

    CPU-Upgrade 350$
    RAM 100$
    DVD-burner/HD/Other 150$
    OSX 100$
    Display 200$

    Total of: 900$

    But you could probably get more.

    A DL burner, internal, is going for at least 150 buckarinos nowadays. I'd guess that $900 to maybe even $1000 is good. The processor upgrade is nice as is the RAM amount and DVD burner. Hard drive is a tad bit wimpy though... upgrade that and you might have added a some value to it...

    you should also throw in at least a couple hundred for the logic board, power supply, case. those things aren't freebies i'm sure.

    Hmmm dual layer burners arent nearly that costly...you can get decent ones for sub 100 dollar prices...check newegg. Although it's getting to the point where the media for those burners is almost as costly as the burners themselves (slightly exaggerated)

    Yeah, I'd estimate somewhere near $1000.
