I have a 20" 2Ghz G5 iMac that i cannot get to boot past the blue screen right before the login screen. I have tried basically everything to get past this besides replacing the motherboard. I switched out the hard drive to a known working one. I switched out the RAM, Superdrive, Power Supply to all working ones from another iMac. i have reset the PRAM and even got a new PRAM battery. The iMac will boot into safe mode successfully, but thats all. I put the fonts on my desktop thinking that could be causing an issue but still nothing. I have read about this issue before and it seems common but no one has a definite answer it seems. Does anyone know what it is on here?
