G5 Powerbook out this year!?

    Seems like they might be coming. :D I'm not too sure they'll do this though - I think the dual core processors seem better suited to Powerbooks - but this might be interesting. Page 1 news, maybe? :cool:

    Well I would tend to think that the iBook would get the g5 after at least a year after the Powerbook gets one. So it doesn't make to much sense to me.

    Or Apple could just place a 1.6GHz G5 in the iBook and 2.0Ghz in the PB line.

    From there 6-8 month updates the iBook goes to 1.8GHz while the PB goes to 2.3 or 2.5Ghz from there another 6-8 months and the iBook is at 2.0GHz while the PB is at 3.0GHz or dual core.

    As you can see the iBooks will get smaller speed bumps then the PB line. :)

    Quite possible. :)

    No, when I say next Tuesday I mean that my divine revelation caused by a reality distortion field is telling me that they are coming out next Tuesday.
