I've just got an end-of-line PowerBook G4 12" (love it!) and I found there were no games with it (like there was with my iBook G4). Can anyone suggest a game which would be good to play on-the-move and when I'l bored at school :D . Not a adventure but something I can open and play when I feel like it.

    1.5GHz G4, 512mb RAM, 64mb GeForce Go 5200. Any suggestions?

    thanks

    Seb

    I'm a fan of Civ3.
Got it running on a CD image rather than an actual disc, loads quick, and its addictive.
runs great on my 1.5 Ghz 15 incher.

I've got Halo and Age of Empires 2 on my 1GHz PB and they both run fine, but the game I play(ed) the most is Uplink. It's an extremely underrated game, because it's got no "graphics" to speak of, it ages really well, and you'll find it sucks you in for hours at a time.

I had uplink and then my Hard Drive died. When i tried to download it again, the link was dead. Do you happen to know where a good link is located.
As for good games, get Warcraft 3. It's great.

Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2. All the games you'll ever need. As long as you like multiplayer. They run like butter, too.

A friend introduced me to Luxor about a month ago. Man, that game is addicting!!

I would also recommend Civ III, HOMM III or Diablo II.

Definitely SimCity 2000 just to waste time. Use SimCity 4 when you have a lot of time on your hands.

I didn't mean it as a preference thing ... SimCity 4 is incompatible with his system ... see the thread for details.
