    Didn't get it at first but chuckled after I did.

    Of course I've never found that strip very funny.

    Now, if only the Family Circus did a biting piece on the iPod, I would be in heaven.

    Why does the appearance of a Garfield cartoon making a joke based on the iPod signal that the iPod has jumped the shark?

    Besides, I found it pretty funny.

    When a product makes Garfield it means that it has passed the point in pop culture where it is anywhere close to cool and hip. It doesn't mean it is that dead. Happy Days went on after Fonzie jumped that shark. And of course, there was the spin-off "Joanie Loves Chachi"

    Now if iPod shows up in Family Circus it is all over for Apple.
