Anyone else wonder if this is the first step in getting their GPS software on the iPhone?

Changing the name from Bobcat to RoadTrip isn't going to make this great software. It may be no worse than the Windows software, but it's mediocre at best.

Kind of old news. I downloaded all of these apps when I upgraded the map softeware on my Nuvi 660 last month.

I think the point is just that the act of providing final releases and taking them out of beta just is a small token of their commitment to Macs. Doesn't actually let you do anything much you couldn't do yesterday, but they're acknowledging Mac users in a subtle way.

The latest version of the TomTom software works for me. It has a few interface problems but it's light years ahead of the previous version.

The Windows version of it is mediocre at best as well.
