    Hey there, I need a quick answer.

    I have to identify the five types of Plutons for a little project. Thing is the text book describes Plutons, but only give you examples of two, and I've googled and found more then just 5 names under plutons.

    I have;
    1. Sills
    2. Batholith
    3. Dike
    4. Veins

    I'm not sure as to the fifth. Is lava flow a pluton, or does old rock (ie hardened magma) count as a pluton?

    Thanks.

    Hm, I'm not a geographer or a geologist, but isn't this geology?

    Call your local library reference desk, you'll have an answer probably within 5 minutes.
