Description:: Don't like the new icon of iTunes, and find it an eyesore to look at in the dock and Front Row? Then download these icons and make your dock look pretty again.

It took about a day before I restored my old iTunes 6 icon. The new icon is too shiny.

Of course, this doesn't accommodate the filetype icons that are presented in Finder, etc. So Finder'll still have blue notes on mp3 files.

I really disliked the icon at first, but it's growing on me everything I look it. I do like the blue... it's just a little too cartoony.

I didn't even know it was different until I saw this thread. The Dock doesn't seem to update the icons when you update software which is a bit lame. I've set it to the new icon now but I'm not really a fan. Change scares me.

I was annoyed when it changed from Purple to Green, but I've since forgotten about it, and I'm sure the same will be true of the new one soon enough.

Yeah, that's the case. I'm getting more and more used to the blue shiny icon. I'm sure in a week it won't bother me at all.

i almost think that the icon should get a color change as much as it should get a complete revision.

iTunes is no longer just jukebox software. it's a music/movie store, and a multiple type of media player.

perhaps change the cd in the background to a VHS tape.

You could just change the icon for mp3 files. Or go to Get Info and click on the icon and paste a copy of the icon you want to use. Or just get used to it because it's not that big of a deal. :p

Because you know, Apple wants their users to think of VHS as the future...
