There are a couple of things about the 6800 that I had a hell of a time verifying through Apple, I went through 3 techs and talked to one of the product engineers.

As the day goes on it'll be harder to do this, so LISTEN UP!

    1. The DVI ports on the card are STANDARD DVI PORTS, you may connect anything you want to them INCLUDING the Apple DVI -> VGA adapter.

    2. The card is AGP, not PCI-X, however it blocks a PCI-X port with its massive cooling unit and bevel.

    3. The card and the kit WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST.

    4. This card should have the same processing power as its PC counterpart, which makes it the next generation video card. This also means YOU MUST BUY THIS OR YOU WILL NOT BE COOL.

HERE ARE THE BENCHMARKS FROM TOM'S HARDWARE FOR THE PC VERSION:

They've had top-of-the-line cards before, anyone remember the GeForce 3 in the dual 800 G4?
