Legacy slingboxes (tuner, classic, av) don't work with iPad Slingplayers because Slingmedia pulled the dirty move by blocking it in their command code. Some gentlemen in this thread were actually able to make it work by going into the app file and tweak the code, which is pretty amazing.

Question is: Does anyone know or can anyone figure out how to do this hack with Version 2.0 Slingplayer, in an newb-friendly way? since the steps in the thread seem a bit complicated. Or maybe turn it into a downloadable Cydia tweak? Thank you all so much for any input!
