Yikes, don't tell Apple about that. Looks like they sent the wrong thing!

Wow you are so lucky. I'm happy for you, but woefully dissapointed for myself.

This happened to me with a Power Mac a couple of years ago. I order the 1.6GHz G5 and it had a gig of RAM. I called Apple to see what the deal was (I wasn't going to send it back regardless of what I was told). They told me that when someone returns a build-to-order computer, it costs more for them to have someone unpack and open up the computer to remove the upgraded components and replace them with stock components. Not to mention that then they have used upgraded components that they can't reuse in a new system.

That is just another benefit to ordering refurbished computers from Apple, in my opinion. You never know what extras might be included.

You gotta love the refurbished store for this exact reason. I got free RAM and a bigger HD in my Power Mac. The only bad thing about the refurbished store: the cool box that Apple puts their equipment in is replaced by a generic brown one.

Anyways, congratulations on the new computer! That sounds awesome!

It won't let you turn on your avatar because you didn't post 500 times yet.

Don't worry, you'll get there one day, I know I did.
