    ahhhh, the good old days of apple......

    Anyone think their complaints of apple nowadays is comparable to back in the mid 90's ?? We are lucky folks now !!

    Of note is that OpenDoc (which Apple distributed with later releases of MacOS as well) was not just an Apple project. It was worked on by many other vendors. IBM actually included it in OS/2, where several applications took advantage of its features.

    The expectations about Copland were one of the reasons I was willing to switch to Mac :) Luckily OS 8 and 9 had enough Coplandy goodness to get me through until Rhapsody.
