Apple has just updated their laptops to support glossy screens. Are glossy screens useful if you need your laptop for professional layouting and designing?

To me they look like good screens for entertainment, but i feel that the reflectivity of these screens is quite obstructive when using them professionally.

Does anybody have experiences with glossy screens? For graphic design, what type of screen would you recommend when buying a new MacBook Pro?

Thanx for the advice.

Glossy screens blow. I hate them with a passion. They reflect way too much and are really distracting.

I agree. I wish they were optional on the MacBook like they are (now) on the MacBook Pro. I'd definitely go for the matte option.
