Wow, I just looked at the birthdays, and everyone on this site is turning like 25, 30, 35 etc. I feel like the youngest person here. Anyone else 14?

edit - Panther, how can you have 44 posts if you've only been on the forums 3 days?

I bet a lot I'm younger than you.

    I'm 14, but I just turned 14 9 days ago.

But we're not the only ones. ubergeek, macaztec... both 14. And there are plenty of teenagers, even in the top of posts.

    Tazo, for example, is 15...

[edit] tazo has just informed me he's actually 16. my apologies...[/edit]

But still - to have posted 44 times in the first two days you visited this site... it's taken me 132 days to post 85 times (although you can't really count the first 90 days or so, since I didn't visit the site much). Anyway, your 17.62 posts per day means that, assuming you sleep (a big assumption on these forums) and eat, you posted more than once per hour. And I'd imagine that that's pretty unusual for someone who first signed up for an account three days ago.

    Macco:

It's certainly easily possible. Look at Mr. Anderson. He sometimes goes days without posting, yet he has like 20 a day..

And on some other forums I'm on, the top poster has over 60 a day. I've posted 100 times in a day once. It's not hard.

These whipper-snappers, I'm pretty young but I've been on these boards for longer than the majority of people.

I turn 17 in early November.

For a minute I started to feel really old. Then I remembered that I get to stay out all night, drive, drink, vote, etc and you guys can't. Ha! :p

Enjoy yourself while you can, in a few years you'll be waking up to wiping a baby's ass and a new generation of Macrumor's youth can laugh at you!

I'm not saying that it isn't possible, I'm just saying that it's probably unusual for someone so new to the forums to have posted so much already.

    Then again, maybe not.

I've been at forums where I've sustained thirty to sixty a day for god... a year. I'm just active wherever I go, and that sometimes gets me a rep as a spammer, but this is about age, not my post count.

    I turned 16 in april.

Overall - I think there are a lot of younger people on this site, but not too many. I think young people add a perspective to this site which is benificial to everyone.

Too many young people (ie BlizzForums) makes for arguments, immaturity, and overall stupidity.

I turn 17 on the 11th, how about you?

Also, what grade are you in? Right now, I'm a Sophomore in college.

I guess middle school/early high school just facilitates that. What grade are you in?

his posts have not been spam, or to increase his post count, they have been in live discussions. so he's simply prolific, something many people are guilty of.

MadChemist, I'm a freshman in high school, all honors classes. I procrastinate, that's how I make time. LOL!

    Paul, thank you.

veiled defense of yourself there, paul? ;)

No, but I agree. The posts I have seen from Panther have been just fine.

And you notice how he tried to cut off the post count discussion and get back on the topic of this thread?

This one's got potential, I'd say. That and an incredible amount of free time on his hands.

LMFAO, thank you very much. Anyway, who is the oldest person on this site? (NOT GOING FOR INSULT PURPOSEES)... but I think the queen should write them a letter when they turn 100. Well, at least Arn.

no prob, man. Well, Arn's certainly not 100...YET. But by the time he's done with his residency, he probably will be.

It would be great, though, if there were some guy on the forums who was 100. Especially if he were always trying to outdo the youngsters with his tech gear.

Youngster: "Yeah, I just bought a Dual 2 GHz G5."
100-year-old: "Yeah, I just built a supercomputer with a 1000 of them. Hehehe, retirement funds R0X0RZ!"

That would be absolutely brilliant, but i meant Arn is the queen (in a metaphorical way, sorry!) and he should send the 100 year old letters. Hehe.
