Good graphing program?

I'm looking for a good Mac OS X native program that has good graphing abilities. AppleWorks isn't an option, because it seems that you can't do simple scatter plots (despite the fact that it has both "Scatter" and "X-Y Scatter" options, I can't for the life of me figure out how to be able to set both X and Y coordinates for scatter points). MS Office is not an option, because I'm not purchasing Office/Excel just for graphing abilities. And ChartSmith is a very poor graphing program.

So with those choices out of the way, does anybody have any good recommendations?

    Gone but not forgotten.
DeltaGraph, I believe, is the only graphing only application for Mac OS X.

    KaleidaGraph 3.6 is my favorite.
ProFit is incredibly powerful. When you consider its price, it is all the more awesome.
DeltaGraph is good if your primary interest is the production of ornate presentations.
Igor Pro is incredibly powerful at a somewhat steep price.

There are others, but these will get you started in your research.

I second the KaleidaGraph recommendation; we use it heavily for visual data processing at the lab I work at, and although it's not designed for beautiful presentation, it is highly functional, reasonably priced, and can handle fairly hefty datasets (at least into the tens of thousands of points).

    Matlab 6.5, VERY powerful software,
I downloaded my copy of Office 200 Pro.
