Yes macgamefiles.com is an excellent place to get mac games and demos but since no one pointed out any specific games im going to go ahead and recommend EV Nova. Great game Although not free the trial has nearly the whole game in it, really the only thing different from the full version is you don't get a please register at one point window. Also after 30 day there is this ships called Captain Hector who flies around and shoots at you. But if your a fairly decent pilot you can avoid him it just gets annoying after a while. :)

EV Nova and its previous versions (Escape Velocity, EV Override) are at Ambrosia Software

There are also other games and utilities such as SnazProX (screen still/qt movie capture utility) on the website.

    Have fun

This is the best version of solitaire I've played on any computer (for free certainly) - and to think part of it originated right here on macrumors! :)

How the heck someone managed to score over 4000 though I'll never know. I've never got more than 3 games in row out.

If you like flying, try this.

I haven't tried extensively, but it could be good/great one day ;)

most or all of them are shareware... but a lot of the shareware ones include most of the game.

Here's one of my favorites: Pocket Tanks
It's a bit down the page, but so much fun...

These games aren't free, but are close. Freeverse has demos of most of their games and right now wingnuts and active lancer are $5.

For free I have enjoyed Jeweltoy and poket tanks (already mentioned).
