First, I'm not buying or selling - or looking to do either. Was just wondering about a price I saw someone asking for their 15" powerbook. 1.5 GHz, 1.25 GB RAM, 80 GB HD, superdrive, Tiger. They wanted $500. Isn't that quite low? Mac2sell had it listed for over $700 . . .

It just seemed like to good a deal to pass up - except that I don't need or want a powerbook.

Or now that the new MBs have come out, have all the other laptop prices dropped?

$500 is probably a good price for that machine. Although you may see it for $700 elsewhere, you'll also notice that (if you're looking at, for example, a private listing site), it takes an extremely long time to sell a machine like that for $700. At $500, it will probably move fairly quickly.
