Hi everyone,
I have just uploaded my all files to Google Drive after buying 100GB. While I'm synching my files, Google Drive app uses so much CPU and my MacBook Air fans do not stop, work without stopping.
I worry about fans which work constantly. I would like to use Google Drive. What should I do?
Thanks in a advance for your answers.

Give it some time.

I use Dropbox and when it synced all of my files it took some time to settle down. If it does not get rid of Google drive and do DropBox. It is fantastic.

Do not trust Google. They will take you I of and use it as they please.

I dumped Google Drive and now use DropBox for personal cloud storage and OneDrive for work and photos backup. OneDrive gives me 10 TB to work with. DropBox and OneDrive don't seem to be resource hogs.

After they sync files with you computer it uses very little resoruces. I have one account with all our company information like bids and proposals. All of my employees can get to these files no matter what hardware or OS they are using!

DropBox has been a real help to our company:)

Of course it's going to be a resource hog while it syncs all your files, but the harder it works the faster it's done and then everything's back to normal.

I reached Google Drive Team. They told me to uninstall the app and install again. It will take time to sync. They are going to develop the app in the near future. Everything is OK now. Thanks in advance.

Actually, I was going to use iCloud Drive but it diehsbt give sharing opportunity.
