Google to bundle software on Dell PCs

    Google to bundle software on Dell PCs

    Now if they would just bundle OpenOffice... my lifes would would be complete. :)

    They already do. Someone at work just bought a new Dell and I helped him set everything up on it (ie- delete all the dell crap preinstalled). There was a few google things on there already- google talk, google desktop, etc. Good to hear- google makes some great programs.

    yeah it's good it's happening, but jumping in bed with dell? i mean it's dell. yeesh.

    i can see the dell billboards now..

    Seems like a good business move for Google. They put their quality products on the largest PC manufacturer's machines and reap the benefits of getting billions of more hits to their Web site.

    More importantly, seems like bad news for MS. If they can't bundle their way through the market, how will they maintain market domination with inferior software?

    Yes, I hate MS Office that much.
