    just thought it was interesting - as you guys know, I don't 'come downstairs' much into the forum, but wanted to share what I thought was an interesting story.

    "Legal action"??

    How do you prove a negative? How is Gillespie gonna prove to a court of law that Bush is not going to institute a draft?

    That's just dumb.

    He's not. He couldn't. But he can threaten. Even sue. Somehow I have a feeling the GOP has more money than the org does. Not that they wouldn't get a lot of support from outsiders, but would be worth a try just to make a threat. As for cutting off funding, it would be illegal to do so under such circumstances. Not that it never stopped this adminstration before. They seem to think if they are re-elected, there is no stopping them. I think they may be right, as the half of us paying attention keep screaming and the other half refuses to listen.
