I was able to pick up a PPC G5 2.0Ghz Dual Mac for 40 dollars! My buddy was selling it because it had trouble with RAM and just stopped working.

Well it ended up being because there was unbuffered ram in there. Took that out, it fired up. Secondly, the HDD was making strange noises. I reformatted, OSX didn't detect errors. Installed Leopard!

    Good deal!

Is it an iMac or PowerMac? You were not very specific.

Just curious, were there any dual G5 iMacs? Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those.

Sorry, it's just a Mac G5. They never made iMac G5's as far as I'm aware.

Mac meaning PowerMac? They did make iMac G5's. Sorry, I didn't notice the word "dual" in his original post.

I know they made G5 iMacs. However, I meant that they never made dual G5 iMacs. It's a PowerMac G5.
