I cannot make this stuff up.

Leticia Villareal Garcia, a grandmother, was arrested by state troopers for possessing 214 pounds of Marijuana (10 bundles) in the trunk of her car. She claims the sales went to support her bingo playing because she needed it to make money as her only income was a weekly $275 welfare check. She now faces 3-12 years in prison.

My question is where did she get the initial capital to buy the weed in the first place :p

So let me get this straight, she buys weed then sells it for a profit, so she can play bingo to make money...????

I think she's puffing as well as dealing, that kind of logic could only come from a stoner.

I highly doubt she purchased that with all or any of her own money. First of all that much marijuana in that part of the States means it was probably schwag. She was probably transporting it and making a cut.

What I want to know is how it got to the point of the police wanting to search the car. The grandma must of been acting very nervous or looked very suspicious.

And another mule becomes a goat.

But that is small time, the usual bust around here is now over 1000 pounds in vehicles.

And the bigger busts are a garage full.

At least, this one didn't happen in Floriduh. :D

I've passed Sierra Vista. What is there to do? Play bingo and smoke, apparently. Everyone in town probably knew her ummm business.

I expect that the police caught someone else who told them where they got their supply.

That's scary when you get hooked...on bingo.

This reminds me of one story which was on the local news earlier this year (I'll always remember this).

A local elderly resident was arrested for putting weed and marijuana in cakes and cookies which she made for the local residents, which included taking the food to families with children.

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard about a new item, you just couldn't make it up...
