... Good choice for getting analog recordings into the digital domain.
Greetings, this is djtonypsalms, and I'd like to share some of my experiences about using Griffin's Powerwave.
Out of the box, I was skeptical because it felt real light, and toyish.
Then I took the RCA outputs from my DJ mixer into the RCA input of the PowerWave, PW to my 12" iBook 900 MHZ, via USB. I recorded a mixtape using GarageBand, then burnt it to CD using iTunes. Pretty simple, and I hav'nt had any problems --- NICE!
Another thing that I like about the PW is you can connect Apple Pro Speakers to them, which makes things sound much better.
Griffin supplies all the cables, so you don't have to worry about that.
I think it's a good choice for a $100 USB audio-interface.
If you have any Q's don't hesitate to ask, Peace!
